Our vision is to bring Racial Facial to classrooms and communities throughout the country – to spark dialogue about race relations and how to improve them and to bring better understanding about who we are and why we fear others, and by forging diverse relationships amongst us all.
- Bring the history of racism and the efforts to end it to tens of thousands of young people, students and others who may not be familiar with the history of racism and the civil rights movement.
- Offer the film as a teaching tool to schools and educators, focusing first on schools that have experienced conflict due to racial tensions or incidents of racial insensitivity or bullying.
- Show people how we can work together as a community to defeat racism and come together to fight for social justice.
- Create the opportunity for positive dialogue, reflection and discussion on the issue of race in our society.
